The second tournament this year under the auspices of the Central Asian Football Association – the CAFA-2023 championship among girls under 17 years old will be held from March 12 to 16 in Gissar.
According to the press center of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, the teams of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Iran and Kyrgyzstan will take part in the competition.
In total, six matches will be played within the framework of the CAFA-2023 championship among girls under 17 years old. All games will be held at the Hisor Central Stadium.
According to the regulations of the tournament, each team will play with each other in one round. The winning team will be determined by the highest number of points scored.
For the women’s junior team of Tajikistan (U-17), the upcoming tournament of the Central Asian Football Association will be the stage of preparation for the qualifying round of the Asian Cup-2024, which will be held from April 26 to 30 in Gissar.
