President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to China-Europe Railway Express Cooperation Forum.
Xi Jinping pointed out that since its launch, the China-Europe Railway Express has maintained safe, stable, and smooth operation, establishing a new pattern of international transportation between Asia and Europe. It has also provided a new platform for economic and trade cooperation along its route, and effectively ensured the stability of international industrial and supply chains, injecting new momentum into global economic development. China will continue to work with all parties to carry forward the Silk Road spirit of peace, cooperation, openness, inclusiveness, mutual learning and mutual benefit, uphold the principle of consultation and cooperation for shared benefits, and promote the China-Europe Railway Express to achieve higher quality, better efficiency, and greater safety, so as to make new and greater contributions to the global economic development, the well-being of people around the world, and the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
Themed “Deepening Connectivity and Promoting Win-Win Cooperation”, the China-Europe Railway Express Cooperation Forum, jointly hosted by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Transport, the General Administration of Customs, China State Railway Group Co., Ltd., and the people’s governments of Jiangsu, Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, Henan, Chongqing, Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Xinjiang, was held in Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province on the same day.
