The first shipment of emergency equipment for energy infrastructure arrived in Ukraine from the United States. U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink wrote about this on Twitter, European Pravda reports.
“Grateful for the work of Ukraine’s air defense against the backdrop of increased Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure in Kyiv and across the country this morning. The first American shipment of emergency equipment has already arrived – Ukraine will win,” the message says.
Recall, a few days ago it became known that the United States sent Ukraine the first part of its energy equipment worth about $ 13 million to support the country’s energy infrastructure after the attack by Russia.
The US ambassador’s statement came against the backdrop of yet another massive Russian rocket attack on Ukraine. The Air Force reported that on the morning of December 16, Russia carried out a massive attack with more than 60 missiles, at least people were killed in Krivoy Rog.
A representative of the Kyiv city military administration said that more than 40 missiles flew to Kyiv, of which 37 were shot down. Due to the consequences of hitting those missiles that reached the target, the metro stopped in the capital for the first time during the massive shelling, and intercity trains are also reported to be delayed.
Ukrenergo declared a state of emergency due to rocket attacks.
