LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), October 31 (SeeNews) – Slovenian logistics company Intereuropa [LJE:IEKG] plans to make investments worth 10.6 million euro ($10.5 million) in 2023 to strengthen its logistics and IT infrastructure, it said.

The company targets earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of 16.5 million euro next year, and also intends to invest in the competence of its employees and the further development of high-quality logistics services, Intereuropa said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Friday.

The generation of EBITDA will be backed by the new warehousing capacities in Belgrade and Rijeka, which will be in operation from the beginning of November and December this year, respectively, Intereuropa said.

Intereuropa also expects its turnover to grow to 197.8 million euro in 2023, as it will continue to focus its activities on consolidating its market position as a leading provider of comprehensive logistics services in Slovenia and Southeastern Europe (SEE), it added.

The estimates were included in the company’s financial plan for 2023, adopted by the supervisory board on October 28.

In the first half of 2022, Intereuropa recorded EBITDA of 7.4 million euro, up 6% year-on-year, while sales revenue went up to 98.3 million euro from 87.2 million euro.
