The Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in South Australia held the official launch of HACCI SA at the state’s Parliament House last week.
Over 100 guests attended the launch and were treated to inspiring words from South Australian Premier Hon. Peter Malinauskas, Chief Justice Chris Kourakis, and businessman Theo Maras, around the importance of HACCI’s vision and standing in the Greek and wider corporate community of South Australia.
HACCI SA Chair, Kostas Koutsonas said the newly founded federation will “lead by example and demonstrate how independent Greek Australian associations can work together harmoniously, with trust and respect.”
The HACCI SA board thanked Tom Koutsantonis MP, Greek Cypriot MP Andrea Michaels as well as Connie Bonaros for making the relaunch of the SA branch possible.
According to the HACCI National Federation (HNF) its first activities will take place within the year and are expected to be announced soon.
