The Volume of Trade Between Tajikistan and The States of Central Asia Increased by 23%


Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Nuriddin Nuriddinzoda, within the framework of the international conference “Tajikistan – Central Asia: a policy of good neighborliness, mutual support, eternal friendship and common development,” said that by the end of 2022, the volume of trade between the republic and the countries of Central Asia increased by 23% . This was reported to SNG.Today in  the press service of the department.

The Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade emphasized that such results were achieved thanks to the efforts of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, who pays close attention to the development of trade and economic cooperation between the republic and the countries of the corresponding region.

Nuriddinzoda noted the expediency of creating joint production entities in order to further expand this interaction. According to him, logistics centers for the export of products can play an important role in strengthening relations between the countries.

The official also pointed out the importance of deepening Tajikistan’s ties with the countries of the Central Asian region in the field of renewable energy, green and digital economy.
